The Golden Shot International Awards were established to globally promote and recognize exceptional talent within the photography world. This competition offers a unique opportunity for both professional and amateur photographers, regardless of their location, to showcase and share their compelling work.
At the Golden Shot, we believe that photography transcends mere art; it serves as a powerful medium for storytelling, emotional expression, and cultural representation. Therefore, we are dedicated to identifying and honoring photographers whose creative vision captures the essence of the world around them, inspiring others through their evocative images.
The awards are meticulously organized in collaboration with a panel of highly experienced and renowned judges from the field of photography.
PREPARING FILES FOR UPLOAD Photographs must be resized to 1500 pixels on the longest side. They must be saved as JPEG file (JPG).
Prepare your files with the following specifications:
- sRGB or Adobe98 colour space, 8-bit,
- longest dimension equals 1500 pixels,
- saved as a JPEG at a setting of 10 (100%) or higher,
- no watermarks / copyright units / logos on images,
- only bleed photographs without borders,
- do not include any characters such as @, $, #, as a part of the file name.

The copyright of all images will always remain with the photographer.
For selected images, copyright holders grant the Golden Shot Photography Awards the right to use high-resolution images unlimitedly and non-exclusively across all media, including social media, for promotional activities related to the contest, without any remuneration being required.
Additionally, copyright holders of awarded images allow the Golden Shot Photography Awards to use low-resolution images non-exclusively on their website without any compensation. The use of these images will be strictly limited to purposes related to the awards and will not be utilized for any other marketing purposes. These images will not be resold, and any similar requests will be forwarded to the photographer via email.
The Golden Shot Photography Awards is also authorized to display images of the winners on various social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram. By participating in this competition, you agree to the use of your name and images for advertising and promotional purposes without any additional compensation. The Golden Shot Photography Awards and its media partners will not be held responsible for any misuse of your images by third parties.
