The “Prix de la Photographie, Paris” (PX3) is dedicated to celebrating photography, uncovering new talent, and connecting international photographers with the vibrant Paris art scene. Our jury of leading industry professionals ensures your work gets seen by the right eyes.
Digital images should be in sRGB format and not exceed 4000 pixels and 4 MB per file. Save as JPG compression High, and minimum 1000 pixels on the longest side.
Entry Fees:
Professional Photographers
$30 for each photograph entered (single image)
$50 for each series (2-8 images with a unifying theme) or book
20% off per additional category, if same entry is submitted to multiple categories
Non-professional and Student Photographers
$20 per photograph entered (single image)
$40 for each series (2-8 images with a unifying theme) or book
20% off per additional category, if same entry is submitted to multiple categories

PX3 Photographer of the Year (Professional)—$5,000 cash prize
Professional photographers compete for the top award–the title of “PX3 Photographer of the Year” and $5,000 cash prize. The Photographer of the Year is chosen from among the 1st prize winners in each of the 6 Pro Categories. The winner’s work is publicized internationally, receives the spotlight at all events, is exhibited in Paris, and published in the PX3 Annual Book.
PX3 Best New Talent (Non-Professionals and Students)—$2,000 cash prize
Non-professional photographers compete for the PX3 Best New Talent Award and $2,000 cash prize. The winner is chosen from the 1st prize winners in the 6 Non-Pro/Student categories. The work is publicized and exhibited in Paris, and published in the PX3 Annual Book.
First Place Category Winners (Professionals) – $500 cash prize
First Place Category Winners (Non-Professionals and Students) – $250 cash prize
First place winners’ work will be exhibited at the PX3 Exhibition in Paris. All first place winners from both the professional and non-professional categories will receive a PX3 certificate and a PX3 winner’s logo for promotional purposes.
Other Category Winners
All winners from both the professional and non-professional categories will receive a PX3 certificate and a PX3 winner’s logo for promotional purposes.
Honorable Mentions
PX3 judges award several Certificates of Honorable Mention to both professional and non-professional entries to acknowledge talent as they see fit.
Paris Exhibition & International Publicity
Submit your best work for a chance to win the title of PX3 Photographer of the Year, cash prizes, be selected by our curators for the PX3 exhibition in Paris and inclusion in the Annual PX3 book.
Winner’s Exhibition
The winning work of the 1st and 2nd prize overall category winners in both Pro and Student levels will be exhibited in Paris at the annual PX3 Winners Exhibition, along with the curated selection from the State of The World. The work of the gold, silver, and bronze subcategory winners will be projected.
All winners and honorable mentions will also be showcased in the PX3 annual book.
PX3 Annual Book
The work of winners of the gold, silver, bronze from both the professional and non-professional Subcategories will be published in the PX3 Annual Book. The names of the Honorable Mention recipients will be included in the book as well.
Copyright and all other rights remain with the photographer.
Any images used by Px3 shall carry the photographer’s credit line. Px3 may use images in any media sponsor publication. All entrants understand that any image submitted to the competition may be used by Px3 for marketing and promotional purposes including in any medium such as exhibitions, print, and digital media directly related to the Px3 competition though there may not be monetary compensation. By winning or placing in the competition, you are agreeing to be included in the winner’s annual book.
