Black Box Gallery presents “Grayscale: A Picture Show,” a juried group exhibition celebrating the enduring power and diverse expressions of black and white photography. Recognizing the rich tradition of monochrome imagery, from its classic and nostalgic appeal to its dynamic and luminous qualities, the gallery invites photographers to contribute to this ongoing dialogue. The exhibition seeks to showcase a wide range of contemporary photographic works and ideas that engage with the history of black and white photography while bringing fresh, modern voices, visions, and aesthetic sensibilities to the forefront. Black Box Gallery encourages photographers to submit their most compelling black and white images for this exciting exploration of monochrome artistry.
